Turn by turn directions:

1. From the car rental office, follow the signs and exit the airport area on Keolani Pl. (SR 36A)

2. Continue straight across Haleakala Hwy. and join Dairy Road (SR 380).

3. Turn left onto Puunene Ave. (SR 311). Total distance to this point is approximately 2 miles.

4. SR 311 will veer right at the sugar mill and become Mokulele Hwy (still SR 311). Follow Mokulele Hwy. to Piilani  Hwy (SR 31). This leg is about 6.5 miles.

5. Turn left onto Piilani Hwy. Follow Piilani Hwy to Keonekai Road. This leg is about 5.5 miles.

6. Turn left onto Kihei Road.

7. Turn left into Kamaole Sands and follow the drive around to building 10.

Optionally, for a more scenic route, at step 5 just continue across Piilani Hwy and turn left on Kihei Road. Follow Kiehi Road to step 7. This route is through Kiehi town, along the ocean.
